Who Was Jim

Huckleberry Finn, alias Huck Finn, stays in St Petersburg along the Mississippi under the guidance of Widow Doglus. She and her sister Miss Wastson try to size up Huck into civilization. Huck, rich after his adventure with Tom (The Adventures of Tom Sawyer), runs away from house at night, assisted by Tom. Now Pap, a drunkard, appears and takes custody of Huck. Huck prevents Pap from taking his fortune away, but gets locked in a cabin. He then escapes from the cabin from his father and travels down the river with Jim, the escaped slave of Miss Watson.

Jim and Huck get separated while traveling down the river thanks to a passing steamship, and Huck is given protection by Grangerford. But then, following a Grangerford girl's elope with a Shepherdson house boy (long-term enemy of the Grangerfords), a shoot-out follows and Huck is barely saved.

Jim and Huck reunite, and meet the son of a Duke and other who claims to be the rightful King. Plot after plot unfold and these two royals prove to be crooks. They approximately get caught and escape; and the four of them flee added south.
